Thank you we appreciate you fixing the computer glitch
As tech savvy as (name) is (and staff)
None of us knew how to “name a data range”
In appreciation
(Name held back to protect the fucktarded) and crew : )
…Sent from my blackberry…
In Appreciation….. Bull shit. I tell them at 1PM I am on my own and to ask staff and if they can’t do it to let me know.
· I take lunch at 1:15. Staff can’t figure it out, yeah mail merges are fucking hard to do.
· 2:15 I said I’d do it in a couple of minutes, I had to finish something I was working on.
· 2:30 I am working on her problem for 10 minutes. Fix it.
· Phone rings and The Big Office Boss is on the line cause the appreciative bitch is on the phone complaining cause her assistant and staff is too fucking stupid to be able to do a mail merge.
· Also how is a mailing to a building TIME SENSATIVE?
I tell the boss that it is done.
Then I get this email where she is Appreciative.
I didn’t choose to be TheMadAdmin. They made me become him….

Cool small copter that a Norwegian engineer came up with. Great and so small.
Nasa
Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter successfully arrived at Mars on March 10, 2006. Over the next six months, the spacecraft will gradually adjust the shape of its orbit around the red planet.
Yeah it got there and today they are releasing High Res pictures.
Very cool. I love this stuff, but when I was kid I figured by now we would have a moon base (SPACE 1999) and we would have explored our solar system in manned ships. (2001: A Space Odyssey). But right now all we get are some cool shots.
Take a peek at NASA’s Site for Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter

This list of recommended reading material on PHP is compiled from a variety of online sources by Web application developers in IBM’s Global Production Services organization. These resources have been selected with the intention of introducing IT specialists and architects to PHP, providing specific information about development and maintenance, and helping to integrate the technology with IBM products.
The good people at IBM have put together a reading list for PHP. Looks great.
TreeHugger.com
Great article about putting underwater “windmills” or water wheels in the river and having clean renewable power.
It is a great idea.
This is a cool tool for all you Web Heads out there. MyPageRank.Net Give all you webmasters out there (Bloggers included) a way to see what Google thinks of your site.
I found it interesting that if I put www.themadadmin.com vs themadadmin.com that Google has different page ranks and link backs for each entry. I guess consistency counts.
Also the Google DC check is cool. Lets you see the differences between the Google Data Centers. Some DC I had a 3/10 Page rank. Most were 5/10. Strange I would have thought they would sync up. I am guessing they are regional (Europe, Asia, China
) and that would explain the discrepancies.
But it is a cool way to look at your site statistics.
Cool Blog Post
This person has posted a great article about what the IT department should know. It covers a ton of topics. Including, how we stop users from being smart and how we need to make the job easier and not just say it is policy. Great read.
This is so cool of Yahoo. They have released their Yahoo! User Interface Library.
This will help you the web developer easily create AJAX Style web pages. The code is all there. Take some time and see what Yahoo has given you for Valentines Day.
Cnet Article
Great article about putting wind farms in the City. Small turbines can be added to the tops of skysrappers and gennerate power 24/7/365. Very cool. We need solutions like these to help the future stay bright.
