This will make Mike T. happy. He is our spam blocking guru.
From Yahoo News
SAN FRANCISCO (AFP) - US prosecutors said they captured on Wednesday a nefarious Internet marketer responsible so much junk e-mail they called him “Spam King.”
Robert Soloway, 27, was arrested in Seattle, Washington, a week after being indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of identity theft, money laundering, and mail, wire, and e-mail fraud
He should be forced to send hand written appologies to everyone in the world that has a computer.

Google 411
Google Voice Local Search is Google’s experimental service to make local-business search accessible over the phone.
To try this service, just dial 1-800-GOOG-411 (1-800-466-4411) from any phone.
Using this service, you can:
* search for a local business by name or category.
You can say “Giovanni’s Pizzeria” or just “pizza”.
* get connected to the business, free of charge.
* get the details by SMS if you’re using a mobile phone.
Just say “text message”.
And it’s free. Google doesn’t charge you a thing for the call or for connecting you to the business. Regular phone charges may apply, based on your telephone service provider.
These are the tools you need to use to backup your dvds before your kid destroys them.

It is also written by Tracy Hickman a well known sci-fi/fantasy writer.

Ok the Beta just started but now Microsoft has made an announcement we have all been waiting for….

Halo 3 will be released on September 25th 2007. I will be getting that that day if possible, need to save some vacation/sick days as well.
To say I am looking forward to this release is an understatement. I will definitely lose some sleep when it is released, to me these game releases are more anticipated than big movie blockbusters. When I think about it taking my family to the movies cost well over $60 and is over in 2 hours. This $60 will last for hours of fun, probably hundreds of hours when you throw in XBOX LIVE play. So it is a great entertainment deal.
Well back to work now.

If you know what “Don’t Panic” and “Mostly Harmless” and “42″ as well as know the importance of always having a towel then this holiday may be right up your alley. Towel Day is May 25th. Grab your towel and go.
Douglas Adams (11 March 1952 – 11 May 2001) thanks for the great stories.
Wordpress has a New Release
Yes boys and girls it is that time again. Time to update that Wordpress blog. What have the good people at Wordpress brought us this time, lets look:
Goodies:
* WordPress Widgets allow you to easily rearrange and customize areas of your weblog (usually sidebars) with drag-and-drop simplicity. This functionality was originally available as a plugin Widgets are now included by default in the core code, significantly cleaned up, and enabled for the default themes.
* Full Atom support, including updating our Atom feeds to use the 1.0 standard spec and including an implementation of the Atom Publishing API to complement our XML-RPC interface.
* A new Blogger importer that is able to handle the latest version of Google’s Blogger product and seamlessly import posts and comments without any user interaction beyond entering your login.
* Infinite comment stream, meaning that on your Edit Comments page when you delete or spam a comment using the AJAX links under each comment it will bring in another comment in the background so you always have 20 items on the page. (I know it sounds geeky, but try it!)
* We now protect you from activating a plugin or editing a file that will break your blog.
* Core plugin and filter speed optimizations should make everything feel a bit more snappy and lighter on your server.
* We’ve added a hook for WYSIWYG support in a future version of Safari.
So If you have it upgrade, If you don’t check it out.
