We have made some changes regarding your free in store exchanges. Beginning immediately at participating stores, your free in store exchanges will not be subject to store due dates and you can keep them as long as you are an active Blockbuster Online subscriber.
Your free exchange will also count as one of your “At Home” rentals and it will be visible in your Queue:
This means we will ship your next online movie after you have returned your free exchange or another online rental. If you would still like clarification about this change, please click here for more information.

BlockBuster,
I have been with Blockbuster for a very long time. Almost from the start.
I liked bringing my mailed movies to the store and exchange knowing the next movie was being sent and I had this one to watch while they other shipped.
Now I go into the store to find out you changed policy and the next movie won’t ship until I return the one I took from the store. I don’t care the store one now is never late. I want my next movie shipped.

These were not Shipped They are picked up from the store.
This choice is leading me to look at Netflix and I am very close to canceling my account with Blockbuster.
You took the one thing you had that Netflix did not have and you screwed it up.
Your change effectively lowers the number of movies I am able to get in a month and if you haven’t noticed, it does not make me happy.
I think I will not be the only one to feel this way and I suggest you reverse your policy or just close shop. You are driving away your customers.
